Great spaghetti Pizza is good too. waiters are nice and bring the food fast. The place is pretty cozy and has cool pictures .

Gino's is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Brooklyn. But I have to say I feel things are changing. I have ordered this hot antipasto before and there was a much bigger portion that what I have pictured. There was one piece of eggplant rolatini, 2 baked clams & 2 shrimps. The fried calamari wasn't a lot either. I feel it's ridiculous to offer so little on the antipasto. Even the shrimp cocktail had 4 shrimps, I feel 6 would have been worth it. I understand that prices are increasing but the portions should be worth the money. Just my personal opinion. But as always I LOVE the penne vodka and I get it with peas and fried chicken cutlet. Absolutely delicious it's the best vodka sauce in bay ridge. I still love this restaurant very much the food is phenomenal.

Authentic italian! When you step inside the restaurant it feels like you've been transported back to in time with the interior design. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The portions are massive/sharable. Everything I ordered was delicious and please try a slice a pizza from there.. It will surprise you! So good!

You can't go wrong with grabbing a bite to eat here... It's a great local Italian restaurant that has been around for years. Definitely make reservations, especially if it's the weekend because it gets very crowded.

Gino's can't go wrong always fresh friendly tasty and terrific best pasta in the ridge and the pizza is really good too we love sitting at the bar with all the other old timers and locals

We came here on a Friday night or a birthday celebration with my husband for his birthday. We have gone here a few times already, and really enjoy the homey-ness of this restaurant and the portions of food (and also the dishes are really delicious). We ordered the fried calamari and the seafood salad as a starter. The fried calamari is always a hit because the batter is so light, airy, but really crispy at the same time. The seafood salad is loaded with seafood, and I always get it. The dressing is really tangy and flavorful, but some may find the dressing to be really tangy. For the mains, we ordered the bowtie pasta and the seafood risotto (their special for the day). Of the 2, for this night, I did prefer the risotto more. It was so creamy, and the rice was cooked to perfection. The bowtie pasta is really good too, and I always order it when I come here. Really worth the visit, and the food taste really homemade!

Valentine's Day was crazy busy but in a nice way. It was quite the place to be! There were couples with gifts and flowers, and some were so dressed up! I thought the holidays were busy- but February 14th was over-the-top! The food was plated beautifully and tasted delicious! Interestingly I got the same waiter as my first visit! This time around he gave fast and accurate service with 2 polite check-ins. My mussels were so good. They were large, plump and juicy with a delicious broth. My scallops were perfectly cooked and tender. The crème brûlée was a bit too sweet but still was a lovely ending to my meal.

I came on Valentine's day with a reservation and it was hard to even walk in. It was packed from the door to all the way inside where the bar was. We had to wait maybe 15-20 minutes because staff was just so busy and hard to flag down. They were doing their best to clear tables as quickly as possibly and get everyone settled. We started off with some bread that came with some kind of oil, I should've asked for some butter but the bread wasn't too hard which I liked. We ordered apps which came pretty quick: baked clams and calamari. The baked clams were so good and not too expensive compared to the other Italian spots in New York. The calamari was good and it came with this tomato dip, but definitely recommend the baked clams more. The sauce and everything was just perfect. The pasta took a while and even getting a water refill was hard because everyone was super busy. I got the half portion of grilled chicken + peas in vodka sauce. The sauce was terrific and I love how they offer half portions so it's less expensive. It filled me just right given how I had appetizers too. We also got the chicken parm with spaghetti. I love how thin the chicken cutlet was. When it's too thick it tastes a bit too fatty. Overall a great place for a date night or birthday dinner.

Summary: Perfect old school Italian food , top notch sauce, and lovely service. I mean how could you not love just a CLASSIC style Italian restaurant. I used to go here a lot in my childhood and came back today for the first time in a while and was so happy to see nothing has changed in the best way. Theres not a lot of pomp and circumstance but its just delicious and simple and has a homemade feel. All of the staff is very professional and kind as well
